General

The LD Systems CURV 500 ES is a portable line-array PA that consists of an active subwoofer and four satellite speakers for a 460-Watt RMS output and a 128 dB SPL. That's plenty of power for small to medium sized venues, regardless of whether you're using it for vocals, DJ sets or mere speech. The sound can be described as bright, transparent and detail-rich, thanks to WaveAhead technology. The system is driven by a class-D amplifier that's packed with a solid number of sonic options, including a 4-channel mixer, limiter, 16 digital effects and Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming.

The CURV 500 ES: SmartLink!

What makes the CURV 500 ES special, is the way the satellites are connected to one another. Where its more traditional counterparts make use of cables, LD Systems has fitted a SmartLink adapter underneath the speakers that links them up. This way, you can simply configure your set-up without any issues, even if you need to downsize to two speakers for a smaller set. Basically, there's very little the portable CURV 500 ES cannot do.
