General
The Reloop brand is best known for their DJ products like turntables, headphones and controllers. For DJs who want a sound system they can trust too, they've now developed the Groove Set 12. This speaker set consists of a 12-inch woofer and two speakers with four 4-inch drivers each. Combined, these give you a compact full-range PA system that is relatively easy to transport thanks to the speakers' design.
Groove Set 12: fully equipped
Despite dimensions of just 605 x 430 x 430 mm, the 12-inch woofer delivers a big sound thanks to its bass reflex construction. It handles lows from 35 Hz upwards, while the two satellite speakers handle the higher ranges up to 20 kHz. In combination with the class D amplifier a total of 3200 watts of sound is delivered. With three knobs on the back of the woofer you can adjust the volume for each cabinet. A peak indicator will let you know when you go too far.
Easy to transport
The Groove Set 12 has a combined weight of almost 44 kg. Fortunately, the woofer has handles that make it easier to carry. The compact dimensions also mean that this set is ideal for use on the road, but it can also be considered for permanent installations. It's quick and easy to set up and comes complete with two 5-metre cables. The woofer offers two XLR/jack inputs, an RCA input and two XLR outputs for connecting extra speakers. The satellite speakers can be mounted on stands for optimal sound dispersion.

Reloop waardig
Wel een heftig zware bas box (30 Kg)
Alleen de behuizing is niet okay.
Zwart geverfd geperst hout.
Na half uur al een hoek af.
Had graag wat extra betaald voor een betere behuizing.

And who can blame them? Fortunately, with the Groove Set 10 and the Groove Set 12, Reloop has speaker sets that mere mortals can manage. Both sets consist of a woofer and two satellite speakers that are relatively light and have handles to make them easier to carry. Their size might be compact but their sound is anything but.
