General
At Bax-shop, we have composed a number of special sets that will help you celebrate Carnival in style. This Bax Advised Carnival Set 1 consists of two Devine Artis 15A 400 watt active speakers and two Procab CAB901 XLR male/female cables with a length of five metres. The Artis 15As are full-range speakers that provide a good deal of power and the XLR cables enable you to connect, for instance, a pair of microphones. The Artis 15A speakers are equipped with an internal amplifier module, which means they only require a power supply and an incoming signal, the latter of which can be supplied by the built-in USB MP3 player. The speaker cabinets are made of a rugged, yet lightweight material, which makes this moderate set ideal for parades, small floats and pubs.
Devine Artis 15A
The Devine Artis 15A is the largest full-range speaker from Devine's active Artis series. A 15-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter provide it with a full sound. The Artis 15A owes its power to an internal amplifier module, which delivers a nominal power of 450 watts. It has a sensitivity of 98 dB and a frequency range of 40 to 18,000 Hz, enabling it to reproduce both trebles and bass tones. The Artis 15A is equipped with a locking speaker output that enables you to connect it to a passive speaker, and with various inputs, including a microphone input. Two-band tone controls (bass and treble) are at your disposal, and signal sources can be easily mixed by means of volume controls per signal.
Procab CAB901 XLR
In addition to the Devine Artis 15A speakers, this set also contains two 5-metre Procab CAB901 XLR male - XLR female cables. These versatile audio cables can be used to connect devices with XLR connectors, such as microphones. The exceptionally flexible CAB901 cables are fully shielded from interference, which can be caused by dimmers and adapters, making them ideal for demanding circumstances.
