HK Audio has an incredibly wide line of products, ranging from big components for big setups to small and compact sound systems - like this Nano 600 for instance. It is a very compact speaker system that weighs only 16.3 kg and was purposely designed for portability and a great sound. There are no worries in the tonal department thanks to the Nano 600's subwoofer and satellite speaker duo, driven by built-in amplifiers and a 3-channel mixer. The sub features a rugged 10-inch woofer and a built-in amplifier to which you can connect the two satellite speakers via speaker cables.

The Nano 600 system is perfect for mobile applications - for entertainers who travel a lot and who need to bring their own great sound. Thanks to the low weight of the set, the system is incredibly mobile. It is ideal for monitoring digital drum kits or keyboards and perfect for presentations, for instance. Your performance will greatly benefit from a pleasant, full sound without hauling about and setting up a large, heavy, cumbersome speaker system.

This set packs a combined power of no fewer than 460 watts, 300 of which is produced by the subwoofer at a maximum SPL of 120 dB. The satellites are each equipped with a 4.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter that produce 80 watts at a maximum SPL of 124 dB for an overall sound pressure level of 130 dB.

Wrote the following about HK Audio Lucas Nano 600 active speaker set
Wat de set zelf betreft, ik gebruik hem als versterking thuis voor mijn synthesizers. Dat gaat uitstekend. Het geluid is mooi, duidelijk en helder. De set is superklein, snel gebruiksklaar en maakt toch flink "lawaai". Ook op hoger volume blijft de klank mooi. Ik ben er erg tevreden over.
Ik heb bewust voor een grotere versie dan de Nano 300 gekozen, omdat daar in de recensie stond dat de clip indicator behoorlijk snel ging branden. Ook de clip indicator van de Nano 600 gaat al snel knipperen. Vooral lekker op de maat van de bassdrum van het keyboard. Toch heb ik dan niet het gevoel dat de set al op z'n maximum vermogen zit en hij klinkt ook dan nog steeds goed.
Voor thuis of in een kleine oefenruimte een geweldige compacte set om je met je muziekinstrumenten (b.v. keyboards) op uit te leven. Voor presentaties, achtergrondmuziek en kleine zaaltjes is deze set ook zeer geschikt. De klank is erg mooi.
Voor het serieuzere buhnewerk is de set absoluut te licht. HK is wat mij betreft wat te optimistisch in haar toepassingsadviezen. Je kunt twee sets aan elkaar koppelen voor meer vermogen, maar dan zijn er, ook van HK, betere c.q. goedkopere alternatieven.
