General
QSC's Rock and Roll speaker set is ideal for live bands. It consists of two QSC KW122 active 2-way speakers with matching protective covers, two QSC KW181A active subwoofers with matching covers and two K&M 21348 distance rods.
QSC KW122 active 2-way speakers
These two KW122 active 2-way speakers are equipped with a 12-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch compression driver. These are driven by a 1000-watt Class-D amplifier that's divided into 2x 500 watts. The maximum sound pressure level is 131 dB and it boasts a broad frequency range is between 50 and 20,000 Hz (-10 dB). All this is housed in a black 15mm birch plywood cabinet with a metal grille to protect the woofer and tweeter.
QSC KW181A active subwoofers
QSC’s KW181A active subwoofers are equipped with an 18-inch woofer and are supported by a 1000-watt Class-D amp module. The maximum sound pressure level of each sub is 135 dB and the frequency range is between 37 and 129 Hz for some seriously deep low tones. The KW181A subs feature comprehensive DSP options such as DEEP™ and INtrinsic Correction™. The DMT™ ensures optimal audio dispersion and last but not least, both subwoofers have ergonomic handles, wheels and a M20 stand flange on the top.
Accessories
The great thing about this set is that you can use it right away thanks to the included accessories. It includes a set of protective covers for the KW122 speakers and the KW181A subwoofers that are made out of heavy-duty nylon. It also comes with 21348 distance rods by K&M that feature a screw thread and a safety pin to secure the stand safely at the desired height. The maximum load capacity is 50 kilograms and the rods are height-adjustable from 970 to 1490 mm.

als deze subwoofer op vol volume staat wat in de winkel niet kan natuurlijk zul je horen en voelen dat alles gewoon zuiver en strak blijft en toch voel je het hard op je borst
hij krijgt het zelfs voor elkaar om een reciever van 10 kilo weg te laten stuiteren op me bureau .
maar op laag volume klinkt deze subwoofer ook gewoon heel mooi net als de qsc k12s (de qsc k12s klinken nu nog veel harder en mooier omdat ze geen zwaren bass hoeven te verwerken)
De levering en service van bax shop was ook perfect !

hoewel hun kracht van 1000 W, zijn toch licht en gemakkelijk hanteerbaar
elke keer verschiet ik er van hoe luid deze wel kunnen
op het eerste zicht lijkt het een moeilijk bedieningspaneel, maar het is zelf voor een amateur gemakkelijk om deze box aan te koppelen
hij heeft RCA, Jack en XLR, géén verloopkabels dus meer nodig
ik gebruik hem meer dan welke andere box ik ook heb, en toch blijft hij er goed uitzien, ondermeer dankzij de beschermhoes van QSC, die ik je aanraad te kopen bij je kw122
het is misschien veel geld dat, maar dat voel je maar één keer, de kwaliteit blijft ;) !
