For DJs Reloop is already a familiar name. As well as products like turntables, headphones and controllers, they now also have this Groove Set 10 speaker set as part of their range. Now you can rely on great sound wherever you go. It's relatively low weight, compact dimensions and handles make it easier to transport too. The set consists of a 10-inch woofer and two speakers that each have two 4-inch drivers for a full-range sound system.
Groove Set 10: fully equipped
Its compact dimensions mean that you can easily set this system up around your DJ booth. Just because it's small though, that doesn't mean that its sound isn't big. The 10-inch woofer produces tones as low as 45 Hz, which are enhanced by its bass reflex construction. The two satellite speakers with two 4-inch drivers and one 1-inch tweeter each are responsible for the higher frequencies up to 20 kHz. Combined with the class D amplifier, all of this delivers a total of 1480 watts. Three knobs on the back of the woofer allow you to adjust the volume per speaker. A peak indicator will let you know when you have gone too far.
Good to go
Up until now, the biggest problem of having your own speaker set has been the weight of it. Fortunately, the Groove Set 10 shouldn't give you too many problems in this regard. In total, the whole set weighs just 28.6 kg, which in combination with the compact dimension and handles makes it relatively easy to transport. Connecting the satellite speakers to the woofer is a snap using the two included 5-metre cables. The woofer also has XLR/jack inputs for connecting a controller, for instance. An RCA input can also be found, as well as two XLR outputs for connecting extra speakers.
