General
The Expedition XP308i is an all-in-one 300W complete lightweight sound system with two speakers and an 8-channel powered mixer with built-in iPod dock and digital reverb processor. This portable system is perfect for schools, presenters, singer-songwriter and keyboard players. The XP 308i is ideal if portability is a must.
This compact system has a smart design so that you can connect all parts into a single, easy-to-transport, case. The internal 2x150W class-D amplifier provides a clear and powerful stereo sound. Furthermore, the amplifier is extra light and highly efficient in its power consumption. The two-way speakers consist of durable 8-inch woofers for bass frequency and are complemented by 1-inch titanium tweeters, positioned in a 60x90-degree horn.
The eight-channel mixer of the XP308i can be taken out of the speaker for table top use, with the bracket, the mixer can ergonomically be positioned in a corner. As the mixer features four mic/line inputs and two stereo inputs, connecting keyboards, drum machines or MP3/CD players is a piece of cake. Phantom power is also provided for condenser microphones. You can use the EQ to adjust the bass and treble for each of the eight channels.
For additional versatility, an iPod dock is built in so that you can play back your favourite songs for rehearsals or you can use your own backing tracks at live gigs. All these functions make the Expedition XP308i a highly versatile, all-round PA system that will appeal to anyone who is looking for a compact, powerful system.

Voor mij het ideale sound system voor het geven van mijn Zumba® Fitness lessen! Het leuke eraan is dat je je iPod rechtstreeks kan inpluggen, en dankzij de equalizer kan je het geluid regelen, top! Ook men draadloze headset sluit ik naadloos hierop aan.
Tip: het nadeel dat Wim hierboven omschrijft heb ik opgelost d.m.v. een flightcase van Yamaha (zij hebben een gelijkaardig soundsysteem) erbij te kopen (Samsom heeft deze nl. niet in zijn assortiment); deze past perfect voor de Samsom Expedition XP308i! Op die manier zijn de knopjes van het mengpaneel beschermd en verplaats ik me met 1 vinger in de neus! ;-)

Enige nadeel is dat de knopjes niet beschermd zijn tijdens het vervoer. Voor het overige TOP !
