General

Able to mimic the sound of iconic speaker cabinets, microphones and power amp valves, the NUX Solid Studio IR Loader & Power Amp Simulator can be dialled in to drop a wide sonic spectrum. Compact and affordable, this stompbox comes crammed with no less than eight different speaker cabinet emulations, eight different microphone emulations and three different valve emulations. From there, you can play with the position of your virtual microphone to vary the sound even further, and via the fitted USB port, extra Impulse Responses can be loaded in via the NUX Solid Studio while the onboard capture function supports custom IR creation. The result is a fat NUX pedal that's not just flexible, but spits outstanding sound quality.

Ik wist niet goed wat ik kon verwachten van de NUX NSS-5 Solid Studio IR & Power Amp Simulator. Maar ik moet zeggen dat ik aangenaam verrast ben door de warme sound en de vele verschillende geluidsinstellingen die eruit te halen zijn. Het voegt echt iets toe aan het geluid. Prima uitvoering ook. Degelijke knoppen en voetschakelaars. Aanrader.
