With the Element, Darkglass treat us to a unique, compact, and immediately innovative and intuitive speaker simulator in a stompbox. In terms of operation, the Element is directly inspired by the Hyper Luminal, meaning that you get a set of touch-sensitive controls in place of the more standard rotary pots we're so used to, essentially making the interface feel like that of an iPhone. This is exactly what makes the pedal such a pleasure to use, and a subtle set of LEDs that glow in reaction to your touch, gives it a satisfyingly understated look.

Next-gen Speaker Simulation and a Double Headphone Output

The Element comes pre-loaded with five speaker simulations, but using the Darkglass Suite, more can be added. Via the included Bluetooth function, backing tracks can be used with ease, and since two headphone outputs have been fitted, you can practice in privacy, even with a mate. Naturally, a balanced XLR output has been provided and offers direct and clean connection to a microphone preamp, interface, mixer, or PA system, and to keep things flexible, Darkglass have made sure that this pedal is fully compatible with bass guitars, electric guitars, or other line instruments.
