General

With their compact tripods, these black speaker stands, the Samson SP50Ps, are great for supporting compact speakers, making them suitable for any PA speaker with a weight of up to 50 kg that is provided with the usual 35mm stand socket. An important advantage is the aluminium construction of the SP50P, that does not only make the stands light, but also makes them rugged and ready for intense on-stage use. If a rotary knob of one these stands is accidentally twisted loose during use, an Air Cushion protects the speaker.

Prachtige set. Compact, licht, mooi vormgegeven, snel op te zetten met handig klik systeem en borgingspin. Kortom: zeer goed, tegen een zeer goede prijs.

Wrote the following about Samson SP50P set speaker stands

Deze speakerstandaards omdat ik echt specifiek op zoek was naar een paar kleine standaards. Grote standaards heb ik al en ik wil ze gebruiken om in gevallen waar het nodig is met mijn monitorspeakers een klein setje te kunnen bouwen. Speakers waren leverbaar in 6 werkdagen. Reeds geleverd na 3 dagen! Dank u wel BAX!

+ De speakers worden geleverd in een prima tas waar ze goed in opgeborgen en vervoerd kunnen worden.
+ De stands zijn inderdaad echt compact. Precies wat ik zocht. Ik kan ze dus ook gewoon thuis opgezet laten staan, ze nemen echt niet veel ruimte in.
+ De stands worden vergrendeld met een klem (die komt wat kwetsbaar over) en geborgd met een pen en dat werkt altijd prima.

Over enkele dingen ben ik wat beperkt tevreden.
- De stands gaan tot 1.80 meter hoog. Dat is net voldoende.
- Ik gebruik ze met de EV ZXA1 en die combinatie is wat wankel. Dat ligt echter wel voor een deel aan de ZXA1 doordat het gat helemaal achteraan op de bodemplaat zit.
- Uitgeschoven op volledige hoogte is de standaard hoe dan ook wel wat onstabiel (dus ook met andere speakers).

Goedbeschouwd is 99,- eigenlijk best wel aan de prijs voor twee kleine standaards. Ik vind ze er prachtig uitzien maar ze zijn wat kwetsbaar.
