General

The LD Systems MAUI 5 is a remarkably mobile column PA that's available in two colours: black and white. The entire system weighs a measly 11 kg yet handles 800W peaks which, combined with the maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB, makes for more than impressive numbers. The MAUI 5 is driven by a class-D amplifier and packs LD Systems' signature sound: tight lows, a solid mid-range balance and clear, bright highs. Depending on the acoustics, you can always tweak the balance via 'Room Correction' mode.

The MAUI 5: The Options

For a system that's so compact, the LD Systems MAUI 5 offers a lot of options. First off, you can hook up a large variety of gear such as keyboards, guitars and smartphones via the jack-XLR combo, jack and mini-jack inputs. These can then be used simultaneously in combination with the microphone input and the built-in Bluetooth receiver, giving you the option to stream or even play along to your favourite music. Meanwhile, any audio-based tweaks can be simply done using the 4-band EQ and volume controls.

De speaker is echt geweldig!! Je kan hem apart stapelen en dus afhankelijk van de setting kiezen hoe je hem inzet. Het geluid is perfect, hij kan de hele ruimte vullen en is makkelijk mee te nemen. En hij ziet er echt prachtig uit.
