General

The Optogate XLR Pink Noise Generator is a compact signal generator and high-speed line tester for use on stage. You connect it directly to an XLR input on your mixing desk and switch on phantom power; it then immediately generates pink noise via a balanced output. The built-in LED helps to detect cable faults: if there is a fault in the twisted pair, it flashes to indicate a fault on pin 2 or 3. No batteries required.
