Are you looking for a splash cymbal with a quick response, short sustain and the cut and impact of a crash cymbal? Then you should look at Zildjian's A Custom splashes. This is the 6-inch version with a small bell, high pitch and a bright sound. The A Custom series also has splashes that are 8, 10 and 12 inches in diameter.
Tips or comments about this product
especially with a small splash cymbal, it is important to use proper technique and not to hit it too hard. A cymbal can only deal with so much vibration. The bigger the cymbal, the more vibration it can handle. If you hit it too hard, there is a chance that it'll start to crack from the edge or the centre hole. This is usually not covered in the warranty for this product. Cracks that form around the bell often times do fall under the warranty.
