General

The phenomenal Nord Electro series has expanded again with the Nord Electro 5D. Just like we're used to from Nord, this keyboard features only the highest-quality sounds. Besides updating the famous tone wheel organs, the memory has been expanded to 1 GB for the piano sounds and there's another 256 MB for samples. The display has also been updated so you can check all of your settings with extreme precision. This 61-key model is equipped with real drawbars so your B3 parts can really come to life!

Nord Electro 5D 61: the legend continues

Clavia has been long been adding colour to stages around the world with the beautiful red keyboards. The Electro 5D has inherited a number of traits from the Nord Stage 2 and Nord C2D. The piano sounds have been drastically improved, and the organ sounds in particular have been heavily updated to include a Leslie 122 simulation from the C2D. Furthermore, the sample section has also been updated so every sample can be changed with attack and release. For an added bonus, the sounds can be downloaded for free from the Clavia website.

Effects and layers

Finally, the effects section has been upgraded, and now you can enjoy all effects in stereo. Reverb and delay are now available independently from one another, and a vibrato effect has been added to the modulation section as well as to the amp section and stereo overdrive, so you can create wonderful distorted clavinet and e-piano sounds. Before it wasn't possible to create layers with an Electro, but now you can combine sounds to your heart's content for your very own unique sound.
