Korg Grandstage GS1-88 2018 (Second-hand)

General

With its seven sound engines, you can find the perfect piano sound for any situation. For example, the SGX-2 features samples from six renowned acoustic pianos from countries including Germany, Austria, Japan and Italy. Especially for the Grandstage, Korg has sampled an upright piano and an Italian concert grand. And that’s just one sound engine. With the others, you can play electric pianos and organs, amongst other things. Thanks to the user-friendly control panel, you’ll have the GS1-88’s functions under the belt in no time. Korg has fitted this piano with ‘Favourite’ buttons, allowing you to quickly recall your favourite sounds. In addition, SST (Smooth Sound Transition) technology ensures a smooth and natural transition between sounds and effects, allowing you to switch seamlessly. This technology has been refined for the Grandstage Pianos.

Grandstage pianos: sleek and subtle

The Japanese design of this stage piano really stands out. The GS1-88 is a delight to the eye and to the ear. The dynamic controls allow you to adjust the clarity and expressiveness of the sound. You can alter the character of the piano to suit your own taste using the three-band equaliser. This stage piano is fitted with 88 RH3 keys. This stands for Real Weighted Hammer Action. This makes playing a Korg GS1-88 an unforgettable experience. With the Korg GS1-88, you can take your audience on a musical journey. A journey during which you might, on occasion, accidentally press the control buttons. Fear not, though, because thanks to Korg’s handy Panel Lock function, you can (temporarily) lock the control panel and ensure you don’t accidentally switch to other sounds or effects. It’s these subtle touches that make the Korg GS1-88 Grandstage an absolute phenomenon and ensure it stands head and shoulders above the rest of the stage pianos in this price range.
