General
Korg's Pitchblack is everything a guitarist or bass player could ever want in a chromatic tuner pedal, like high precision and a robust construction. But that's not all. It's also road-ready, easy to use, and available in this limited edition brushed nickel finish for a tough, industrial look. Because the Pitchblack is the same shape and size as most common effects pedals, it will fit perfectly on your pedal board. Although it's compact in size, it has a large LED display that is easy to read, whether you're in full daylight or on a dark stage.
True Bypass
The Pitchblack mutes the signal while you're tuning, but when you're done, the True Bypass function allows the signal to pass through without influencing the sound of your effects in any way. A 9-volt DC output allows you to daisy-chain several pedals using only one adapter.
Tuning methods
The Pitchblack has an adjustable calibration frequency of 436 to 445 kHz, and a broad detection range from E0 (20.60 Hz) to C8 (4,186 Hz). You can choose from four different tuning methods: meter mode, full strobe mode, half strobe mode and mirror mode. 7-string guitarists and 5 or 6-string bass players can also plug their instrument directly into the Pitchblack.
