The next step up in the impressive Pitchblack Series, the Korg Pitchblack X stage tuner can now be switched between true bypass and buffered bypass to guarantee flawless, uncoloured tone. Usually, when you jack in a guitar loaded with passive pickups and a high input impedance using leads any longer than six metres, your sound suffers from treble frequency loss, but using a buffer like the one found inside the Korg Pitchblack X, you're assured that the natural tone of your instrument reaches your amp fully intact - even when using longer cables. Meanwhile, the true bypass setting ensures that your sound quality is retained when the pedal is switched off, since it directly links the pedal input to the output so that nothing can get in the way of the signal.

Larger Display, More LEDs & Advanced Accuracy

The display screen of the Pitchblack X isn't just bigger, but now features more meter LEDs to result in even better on-stage visibility. The brightness also has two settings, so you can make sure that, no matter the light conditions, you can always read your tuner clearly. This next-gen model features four different tuning modes: Regular, Strobe, Half-Strobe and Mirror. Flip into Strobe mode and gain circa-0.1 cent tuning precision to guarantee hyper-accurate pitch detection. Meanwhile, the two arrows planted either side of the display start to flicker the moment you hit the perfect pitch, supporting surgically exact tuning. This high-performance tuner pedal can be powered by a standard 9V battery or power supply.
