General

For the more heavy-handed string pickers and guitarists who tune 1 or 2 notes lower, an 80/20 Bronze set is a godsend. The D'Addario XTABR1356 strings from the XT Acoustic series are probably even more up your street then. The carbon-steel core of the string provides up to 42% percent extra strength. The ball ends are attached to this via D'Addario's proprietary fusion twist method. Here, the tuning of this string set is also 131% more stable. A special protective coating also makes them last up to 3 times longer. This water-repellent coating has been kept as thin as possible, so these steel strings keep their natural sound and still feel familiar while playing.
