The Ibanez AW65 is a well built steel string guitar that comes at a budget-friendly price. This acoustic guitar belongs to the Artwood Series and bears a traditional dreadnought build finished with a solid cedar wood soundboard for a warm and sweet sound. The neck of the AW65 has a Low-Gloss finish, giving this model a far more smooth and agile playing experience than models with high-gloss finishes.
The Ibanez AW65: The Right Stuff
The cedar soundboard of the Ibanez AW65 is complemented by okoume sides and back, a nyotah neck, and an ovangkol fretboard with 20 frets. This combination of wood provides a surprisingly low and deep sound which is perfect for playing with a plectrums, while the classic design of the AW65 is completed by the modern design of the ovangkol bridge and a delicate wood inlay soundhole rosette. Finally, this acoustic guitar has been fitted with a strap button at both the heel of the neck and base of the body so the guitar sits with more balance when standing to play with a strap.
