General
The Ibanez PC12MH-OPN is an acoustic steel-string guitar with a couple of very striking features. Firstly, it has a Grand Concert model body which has a distinctive, compact and elegant shape with a narrow waist. This looks great but more importantly it provides a more direct, bright sound that is richer in mid-tones than the better-known dreadnought shaped body. Secondly, this guitar has a special Open Pore finish which means that the pores haven't been completely filled with lacquer so so that the wood can breathe and age naturally and you can still feel the texture of the wood.
The PC12MH-OPN: Warm and Bright
The PC12MH-OPN is made almost entirely of mahogany. This warm, brightly resonating, dark brown wood was used for the body as well as the neck and gives the guitar an attractive, dare-we-say-it, pleasant appearance. The Open Pore finish also provides you with a more natural sound and the steel strings guarantee that familiar, wamr and direct, sparkling sound, perfect for pretty much every genre.

I bought the ibanez as a 2nd guitar, something I could take out and about. It arrived well packaged and on the agreed date. Straight out of the box it seems well set up and has a good to be for a budget guitar.
The action is a little higher than I prefer but playable. I intend to let the guitar settle for a couple of months then adjust the action to suit myself.
As a budget 2nd guitar I'd recommend the ibanez and I'd happily recommend Bax music. The price for the guitar I purchased was the cheapest I could find any where on the net...
All in all, I'm a satisfied customer and would happily use Bax music again

Rapport qualité-prix imbattable. Joli coloris, très plaisant. Finition légère mais à ce niveau de prix, on en a pour son argent. Inspirée des vieilles Martin des années 30/40...
Guitare qui sonne assez medium-aigu (proche d'une parlor), ne pas chercher les basses profondes d'une dreadnought ou jumbo. Harmonique riches et belle projection. On apprécie le kit de réglage avec un sillet de chevalet de rechange et les clés allen.

Belle guitare, facile à prendre en main bien que je rencontre quelques difficultés à faire sonner les cordes Re et Mi aigu cordes un peu dures à mon goût (frise beaucoup) Achetée comme deuxième guitare pour m’entraîner sur la fluidité des accords sur un manche Folk. J’ai une très petite main et l’apprentissage sur ma guitare classique est difficile à cause de la largeur. Après 5 jours de travail beaux progrès réalisés. Envoi rapide, bien emballé. Je ne regrette pas du tout ce petit investissement : qualité à un prix très raisonnable.

Hele goede gitaar! kan er heerlijk op spelen. Ik denk dat dit een hele goede gitaar is voor beginners. enige minpuntje dat hij niet 2 aansluitingen heeft voor je gitaarband maar dat kan je natuurlijk zelf monteren.

Heerlijke gitaar, warm geluid door de gebruikte houtsoort en makkelijk bespeelbaar. Ibanez is er in geslaagd voor een hele vriendelijke prijs een gitaar te maken die kan wedijveren met gitaren uit een duurdere klasse.
Ideaal als je wat kleinere handen hebt, de hals is smal en de snaren liggen mooi laag boven de frets.
Bax levert uitstekende service!

Speelt perfect en soepel en ligt beter in de hand dan welke andere (akoestische) gitaar die ik tot zo ver in m'n handen heb gehad. Qua hoog/laag geluid klinkt het heel gebalanceerd, door de volledig mahogany body en de ruwe afwerking qua lak krijg je een heel helder duister geluid.
Die open poriën finish voelt en oogt trouwens ook heel mooi.
Voor deze relatief lage prijs zeker weten een van de beste keuzes waar je voor kunt gaan hier op bax-shop
