Looks can be deceiving! The Kala Parlor acoustic guitar is a fiery little fella. The solid cedar top and mahogany back and sides, give this guitar its rich zingy sound with good treble and bass for a guitar this size. The Parlor has a rich, full-bodied sound that is not at all overbearing, making it ideal for singer-songwriters, home producers, or for anyone who loves playing a small-bodied guitar that packs a punch.
Kala Parlor guitar: attention to detail
Kala paid a lot of attention to detail in the design of the high-quality Parlor guitar. The mahogany neck has nineteen frets, and the satin finish, Indian rosewood binding and herringbone purfling give this guitar its classic aged look.
Kala's history
Kala Brand Music Company was founded by Mike Upton in the USA in 2005 and produces hand-made ukuleles, U-basses and guitars in Petaluma, California. Just like they did with their ukulele basses in 2007, Kala has made a name for themselves with their signature Elite series, which has globally put the brand on the map. Kala invested a lot in creating instruments that have a distinct sound as well as comfortable playability. Since then, the company has been providing ukulele players all around the world with quality instruments at a great price.
