General
Recording King's ROS-16 is an Orchestra Model acoustic steel-string guitar, also known as a triple O. This particular model is a 12-fret OOO-style guitar based on a classic design from 1902. A characteristic feature of this model is that the neck is attached to the body at the 12th fret, making it a lot shorter than a traditional acoustic guitar. Additionally, the body of the ROS-16 is the same size as that of a nylon-string classical guitar, giving it a brighter, more direct tone. Combined with its extra wide neck (46 millimetres), this instrument is a finger picker's dream. It is also ideal as a slide guitar for blues, for instance.
ROS-16: traditional recipe
This acoustic guitar has a solid top made of AA-grade Canadian spruce. Compared to laminated wood, a solid top produces more volume and a richer tone. Additionally, the mahogany sides and back provide the warm, intimate sound you expect from a classic 12th-fret guitar. Moreover, the ROS-16 has several professional features that include a 20-fret rosewood fretboard and an ebony, pyramid-style bridge with a bone saddle. Together with the bone string nut, they make this guitar sound as good as it looks. The top has an elegant wooden rim with a beautiful herringbone pattern as a clear reference tot the ROS-16's heritage.

Ik wilde een 2e gitaar zodat als ik bij mijn relatie ben ik dan ook lekker gitaar kan spelen maar wilde niet de hoofdprijs betalen maar ook weer niet inleveren op kwaliteit, ben een Yamaha gwens uit de prtijsklasse 500-600 euro. Deze gitaar met een solid body is werkelijk een koopje. Hij ziet er wow uit maar klinkt ook net zo mooi, alle geode verhalen kloppen. Ook ik heb de standard snaren vervangen door Elixers (de dunste). Ik moest heel even wennen aan de kortere hals maar dat dat duurde niet lang. De iets bredere hals is heerlijk en geeft ruimte bij het fingerpicken.
Voor deze prijs kan je deze gitaar toch niet laten liggen, geen seconde spijt gehad !
Bax bezorgt snel en goed, ik had hem de volgende dag al, netjes verpakt met meer dan genoeg stootvrij material in de doos.

Servizio bax music eccellente,confezione perfetta.Per la Ros 16,chitarra rifinita ad alti livelli, suono meraviglioso alla pari di alte chitarre ben più costose.Ho trovato il suono acustico alla gilmour che cercavo.migliorerà sicuramente col tempo in quanto i legni si apriranno ancora di più.Manico v-shape estremamente comodo, nut da 46 mm giusto per le mie mani.bellissima ,chi ama blues, e delta blues, finger consigliatissima.provatela.

La migliore scelta per rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Rifinita in maniera incredibile, suono molto bilanciato. Una 000 degna di essere chiamata tale con un prezzo irrisorio. Manico vintage V, volute, insomma tutte caratteristiche che si trovano solo su marchi blasonati di cui questa Ros-16 è davvero un'ottima copia. La consiglio vivamente. Inclusa anche la brugola per il trussroad ed equipaggiata con corde D'Addario di serie.
Perfetti nell'imballaggio e nella spedizione.

Ik wilde graag een akoestische gitaar hebben om lekker snel te pakken als ik zin heb om te spelen en na flink research doen online was mijn ook gevallen op een OOO 12 fretter van Recording King. De previews en gebruikers ervaringen waren lovend en nadat ik de ROS-16 vandaag heb ontvangen kan ik ze alleen maar beamen. De afwerking van de gitaar is ontzettend goed. Zeker voor deze prijsklasse. Wat lijm restjes binnenin, een ieniemini finish foutje op de kop en slechte brugpinnen zijn de enige minpuntjes die ik kon vinden. Het hout zit er prachtig uit, de vintage v hals went snel en de klank... de klank is erg mooi. Ik heb de standaard D'Addario's vervangen voor Elixers en tussendoor de toets gereinigd en geolied en de frets gepolijst met een kitje van Dunlop en ze speelt als een zonnetje. Je hoort de gitaar open gaan na een paar uurtjes spelen. Ik weet zeker dat ik de juiste keuze heb gemaakt.
De levering van Bax was overigens perfect, dus dank daarvoor!

Helaas heeft Baxshop tot twee keer toe dezelfde verkeerde gitaar toegezonden . De derde keer was de goede en wat een goede! Het is een heerlijk bespeelbare gitaar met een prachtige klank en voor de liefhebbers een heerlijke brede (46 mm) hals. Daar ging ik voor en ik ben niet teleurgesteld. Integendeel.
