Thanks to the NEX body, you get an impressive volume out of a highly compact guitar. The budget-friendly G series brings craftsmanship and that distinctive high-quality Takamine sound, no matter how big or small your budget is. Remarkable for this is price range, is the GN20-NS´s solid top which greatly benefits the resonance of the body. As you can expect from any Takamine instrument, this guitar is perfectly finished.

Construction of the Takamine GD20-NS

Cedar wood is known for its warm, balanced sound and quick response which is why it's very popular among guitarists in lighter genres. The solid cedar, combined with the mahogany sides and back, gives this GN20-NS a detailed, warm sound. The comfortable, slim neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard and thanks to the unique split bridge saddle, you get the best intonation possible. Thanks to the innovative, pinless bridge, replacing strings becomes much easier than with steel-string guitars that have a standard bridge.
