D'Addario comes up with NYXL strings for the pedal steel in the ten-string E9 tuning. The NYXL1138PS string set is mainly characterised by more bite, extra durability and extreme tuning stability. The traditional Nashville tuning, popular in the music genres country and western, of this type of lap steel guitar is B-D-E-F#-G#-B-E-G#-D#-F#, all notes from an E9 chord.
