The Pirastro Permanent string set for double bass is specially developed for solo and arco playing. Thanks to the high-tensile steel core with nickel winding, these strings offer instant response, clear and focused sound and high volume with excellent projection. The strings are instantly playable and remain extremely stable, making them suitable for both rehearsal and stage use. This set is available in medium tension and in sizes for 3/4 double basses, with both solo and orchestral tuning.
