General
The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi string set for double bass is the ideal choice for bassists seeking versatility. Thanks to the modern synthetic core with chrome steel windings, these strings deliver a powerful, dark and full sound with exceptional projection. Suitable for both arco and pizzicato playing, they offer a short break-in time and fast response. Moreover, they feel comfortable for the left hand and remain stable under varying temperature and moisture conditions. This makes them a reliable set for both orchestral playing and solo work.
