Thomastik-Infeld's TH-196 Dominant is a set of 4 strings for a 3/4 double bass. These flexible strings are made up of a synthetic core that consists of multiple strands, giving you the feeling of playing on gut strings. The big advantage is that these strings are not sensitive to moisture and therefore remain very stable in tune and last longer than gut strings. You can count on a warm and clear sound rich in overtones. Thomastik-Infeld's Dominant range is known as the reference in terms of strings.
