The FLASH 1500D is a DMX-controlled stroboscope with a 1,500 Watt flash tube. The versatile FLASH 1500D can be used as a stand-alone device or be controlled via DMX and is built for both upright and suspended installation.

Technology of the FLASH 1500D

The FLASH 1500D is equipped with a powerful 1,500 Watt flash tube controlled by rugged electronics. A high-quality reflector provides additional intensity and increases the range of light to really throw lightening-like flashes across large spaces. A glass front protects the tube without obstructing the strobe effect and the light has a built-in dimmer function that can be operated both in stand-alone and DMX mode to build up slowly or go full force.

Control and installation

The rear panel of the FLASH 1500D is fitted with a number of controls for the various functions available when in stand-alone mode. The stroboscope can be DMX controlled via one channel for speed and one channel for dimming which is pretty straight forward, even if you're using several fixtures at the same time. The FLASH 1500D is equipped with practical feet for easy positioning on large DJ booths but it can also be suspended via the rugged mounting bracket complete with a safety cable and eyelet.

Great bit of kit and for me I need the DMX. It is large and bulky like all of these things are. Only concern was it has a EU plug and included in the order a free adapter which is big and bulky. I didn't notice a note stating EU plug.
