General

Steinberg's Ultimate Cubase Recording Pack consists of the UR824 audio interface and the latest version of Cubase. The audio interface gives you the opportunity to make professional recordings on up to 24 channels at the same time. The version of Cubase that is included gives you plenty of effects and virtual instruments to work with as well.

UR824 audio interface

The UR824 is essentially a 19-inch USB sound card equipped with digital and analogue inputs and outputs as well as USB 2.0 which means it can be connected directly to a PC or Mac. The UR824 has eight Neutrik XLR / TRS combo inputs with a switchable pad function and +48V phantom power. Class A microphone preamplifiers and top-notch A/D and D/A converters ensure dynamic recordings of optimal quality. There are also eight balanced analogue TRS line outputs that can be used for separate monitoring purposes or with 7.1 sound systems. Two pairs of ADAT optical connectors allow you to create up to 16 extra audio channels via a single USB connection.

Een complete mismatch met MacOS 12.5. Er zijn allerlei ingewikkelde omleidingen nodig om het apparaat te laten werken. Verschrikkelijk! Ik heb twee interfaces aangeschaft voor 750 euro per interface. Enorm veel frustratie rijker. BAX hebben jullie een oplossing?

De studio van DjREsound.nl is eind 2014 grondig vernieuwd en deze bundel is aangeschaft om cubase 5 met oude geluidskaart te vervangen. Het is een perfecte combinatie waarbij je alles binnen cubase kan routen en regelen. Erg fijne workflow en een gigantische verbetering ten opzichte van wat er eerst stond. De eerste opnames zijn fantastisch geworden en we zijn weer toekomst-proof (en misschien lopen we wel weer een beetje voor)! Het analoge mengpaneel gaat er in ieder geval uit!
