General
The Radial MC3 passive monitor controller is a tight little management system that can be set up to quickly switch between two sets of active monitors for efficient A/B comparisons, ultimately leaving you with a better mix that will sound good anywhere. A built-in headphone amplifier is also provided so the sound can be checked before it goes live, and once you've plugged two pairs of active speakers and a subwoofer into this little desktop box, you're done.
A Practical Studio-Management Tool
The back panel of the Radial MC3 has been fitted with a 6.35mm stereo jack input and a 6.35mm stereo jack output for monitors A and B, and once set up, you can simply flip between the pairs using the switches on the front control panel. A headphone volume control has also been fitted, and using the dim switch, the volume of all connected speakers can be lowered without effecting the headphone volume level. The MC3 supports balanced as well as unbalanced signals and can be linked up to the output of your mixer, interface, or laptop, while the outputs are connected to two pairs of monitors, a subwoofer, and of course, your trusty set of headphones.
