JBL's 306P MK2 active studio monitor is pure craftsmanship. It's equipped with a 1-inch tweeter and a 6.5-inch woofer, driven by two 56 Watt Class-D amplifiers, bringing the sound as low as 47 Hz, or 39 Hz at -10 dB, sufficient for pretty much every genre. That makes this speaker ideal for professional music productions, post-production, broadcasting, film and more!

Features of the JBL 306P MK2

Sound engineers know that the sweet spot is the best possible place for the mixing engineer to be positioned in relation to the speakers. With some monitors, this sweet spot is very narrow, but the JBL 306P offers a wide dispersion of 120 by 90 degrees. Another handy feature is that this speaker can be placed near other magnetic equipment without experiencing any interference. This is especially practical where space is limited.

Sound and Application

The most important aspect of this monitor is, of course, the sound. It offers deep bass and the crossover between the woofer and tweeter is virtually inaudible. On the rear, there are XLR and TRS inputs, and the sound can be adjusted to compensate for the acoustics of the room, if need be. Finally, when it comes to studio monitoring, the sound should be neutral as possible, which is what JBL provides in this professional 305P MK2 speaker.
