The speakers by KRK have built up quite a reputation. Recording studios around the world features a set with their unmistakable yellow woofers. The Rokit series is by far the most popular series, and this compact G3 version with a 4-inch woofer is ideal for home-studio producers. It may be small in size, but it features an improved front baffle for a more streamlined design, resulting in better sound dispersion and projection. The G3 design has a few features worth mentioning. The mounting screws are not visible, which gives the speaker a smooth, streamlined appearance. The tweeter has been revamped and the bass reflex port supports the woofer for extra pressure in the lows. This port has rounded edges, resulting in a balanced low-frequency range. It also ensures enhanced sound dispersion and projection. Underneath the RP4 G3, there is a layer of neoprene that absorbs resonance and prevents the speaker from sliding.
Give both high and low frequencies an extra boost with the 4-position switch. You can either reduce the signal by -2 dB or enhance it by +1 dB. The speaker offers plenty of connection options, including RCA, XLR and jack.
