M-Audio's M3-8 black active studio monitor is a 3-way speaker designed for serious work. With a frequency response of 38 Hz to 22 kHz you won't miss any details, making this monitor ideal for mixing all genres of music. In total, there is 220 watts of power available divided over the low, mid and high frequency drivers. The M3-8 features 8-inch and 5-inch Kevlar drivers and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter. M-Audio has paid particular attention to the M3-8's housing to ensure it doesn't suffer from any unwanted vibrations. The drivers and the tweeter are highly responsive and deliver a tight sound.

The acoustics in every room are different, which is why the M3-8 is equipped with an equalizer on the back, so that the sound can be adjusted to suit the environment. As you may have noticed in the images, the tweeter is combined with the mid driver for improved audio reproduction and to prevent any phase problems.
