Pearl's Integrated Suspension System (ISS) is designed to be a way to mount your toms without sacrificing their ability to resonate freely, thus allowing for a better tone and more sustain. To do so, they are not attached to the shell itself, but to the rim. Use this Pearl ISS-0810SL-C and a tom holder arm to mount your 8 to 10-inch toms to a rack, stand or a bass drum.
