Re-dropping a sixties icon, VOX brings back the Mark III Teardrop. This singular electric guitar is directly based on the Mark IV but now it's even smaller! This itty-bitty six-string isn’t just a welcome sight in any living room or studio, but since it's a mere 81cm long, can serve also as an easy-going and easy to carry travelling companion. As a neat bonus, it comes complete with its very own form-fitting gig bag.

The VOX Mark III Mini: Sweet Playability

To balance out the lower tension of the short scale length, VOX have strung the Mini with higher gauged strings and fitted a 42mm nut, giving this guitar a tight and controlled playing feel despite the cute size. Even the machine heads have been exclusively calibrated so ensure that the ratio is perfectly tuned for the dimensions of the instrument and to guarantee reliable tuning stability.

Familiar VOX Sound

The teardrop shaped, solid terentang body has been decked out with two passive single-coil pickups that pack a surprisingly articulate dynamic response and spit immediately familiar and warm VOX-flavoured tone that throws things right back to the sixties. Combine the VOX Mark III Mini with an AmPlug 2 headphone amplifier (not included) or the VGH Guitar Amp Headphone (not included) and you're set up with an uber-compact little rehearsal kit.
