General
The Tombo 1521 Band Deluxe Tremolo C harmonica is the most luxurious tremolo model produced by Japanese Tombo. It has 42 holes and reeds, meaning it has 21 tones. The reed plates are attached to a wooden comb, which ensures a warm tone. To give the sound more volume, the stainless steel cover plates have an ascending shape. The plates are attached with two screws each, making it easy to clean. To protect against dust, a sturdy plastic storage box is included. This harmonica is tuned in C major.
Tombo: made in Japan
The tombo brand was founded in Japan in 1917 and has been making harmonicas all over the world ever since. In Asia, harmonicas are widely used and popular for introducing children to music, and incidentally the Lee Oskar harmonicas are also made in the same factory. The same high quality is provided for the own-brand Tombo harmonicas.
