General

The 645GE is a professional Yamaha tuba, tuned in Bb. Because of its rotary valve system, this instrument gives a traditional teutonic sound. A large bore and a fairly large bell make it not an easy instrument to play, but a good tubist will get a great sound out of it. If you are looking for a tuba with a warm, dark sound and rich timbre, this is a good choice. With Yamaha's years of experience and advanced technology, you can expect nothing less than accurate intonation. It is made of brass and it is finished with a clear lacquer. You get a case and a mouthpiece included, so you're ready to start right away!
