General
If you want to get more out of your playing, a solid top is the logical next step. Solid wood reacts more sensitively to the vibrations of the strings, which makes the tone richer and more expressive, while low and high registers both stay clear and defined. The Cascha CUCMS2 is a concert ukulele built entirely from solid mahogany, a wood known for its warm, full sound, its excellent resonance and its wide tonal spectrum. That makes it ideal for the sort of musical range you expect from a ukulele.
Woods, hardware and what you get
The neck is made of okoume, while the fretboard and bridge are rosewood and the nut and saddle are cut from ox bone. There is no binding around the body, and the whole instrument has a matte finish. The fluorocarbon strings give you a brilliant sound, precise intonation and a penetrating tone, and they hold their tuning well. The closed precision tuners keep that tuning reliably in place, even in demanding musical situations. A padded bag with an accessory compartment is included, so you can carry your ukulele to a performance or a recording session well protected. Two strap pins are fitted as well, so you can attach a strap.
