Cascha CUSZW1 Soprano Ukulele Zebra Wood including gig bag

General

At first glance, most ukuleles look much the same: light wood, a matte lacquer and little else. A body of striped zebra wood is a bold choice, then, for anyone who wants an instrument that gets noticed the moment it comes out of the bag. Those stripes are no print either: that is the wood itself. Cascha picked zebra wood for more than its looks, because it also gives this soprano model a warm, full sound. The matte finish and the smart black ABS binding around the body round off the picture. The instrument is aimed at ambitious beginners as much as at more advanced players, so if you want a ukulele that sounds good and stands out at the same time, you are looking at a serious candidate.

Playing, tuning and taking it with you

The neck is made of okoume and carries a walnut fretboard, a combination that makes playing particularly pleasant. The nut and saddle are cut from ox bone, and Cascha carbon strings are fitted throughout, known for their brilliant sound, precise intonation and penetrating tone. The black open-gear tuners hold the tuning reliably even in demanding situations, so you are not retuning between every song. Two strap buttons are already mounted, which means you can attach a strap right away. With a scale length of 350 mm and a nut width of 35 mm the instrument stays nicely compact, and the padded bag with accessory compartment protects it on the way to the campfire or a small performance.
