General
You have been playing your first ukulele for a while, and something begins to nag at you: the tone stays somewhat flat. Play harder, and nothing extra happens. That is the difference between a laminated top and a solid top. A solid construction reacts far more sensitively to the vibrations of the strings, which makes your playing more dynamic. Soft playing stays soft, and when you put more into it you hear that immediately. This tenor size has a scale length of 43 cm.
Solid mahogany from top to sides
The complete body is built from solid mahogany, a wood known for its warm, full sound and broad tonal spectrum, with both the low and the high registers staying clear and defined. The neck is made of okoumé and carries a rosewood fretboard and bridge, while the nut and saddle are made of ox bone. On the fluorocarbon strings that sounds brilliant and penetrating, with precise intonation. The closed tuning machines keep your tuning stable through a long session or a performance, and the matte finish without binding keeps the whole look clean and timeless. Thanks to the padded bag with its practical accessory compartment, you leave the house well protected.
