This Diamond Head DU-250 soprano ukulele has a mahogany body and a white binding. The transparent, satin finish accentuates the unique wood grain of the mahogany. This ukulele doesn't only look good, though, it offers sublime sound and playability as well. It features a rosewood fretboard and flat frets for comfortable playing and a nice, even tone as well. The DU-250 features authentic Aquila Nylgut strings that boast a rich tone and a long lifespan.
Playability
The soprano is considered the standard-sized ukulele. This DU-250 by Diamond Head is known for its thin, high sound. The uke itself originated in Hawaii and its popularity is still gaining today all over the world; in fact, people of all ages are charmed by this little string instrument. De snaren zijn heel losjes zelfs na het stemmen.
De body is uit kunststof en minder aangenaam in de hand dan een houten, de klank is hierdoor ook minder vol.
Ik raad aan om een duurder, kwalitatief product te kopen.
Een sopraan ukelele is de kleinste maat, voor mensen met dikkere vingers en/of grotere handen is een concerto aangenamer om te spelen.
