The sound of mango wood like has much in common with koa wood, but with a slightly brighter upper register. The Flight A10 MM Mango Dragon builds on that foundation and adds a striking and unique look: a turquoise dragon inlay over the fingerboard. The dragon is the symbol of Ljubljana (Slovenia) the home of Flight Ukulele. For this 10th anniversary edition, every ukulele in the A10 series is built from start to finish by one 'master' luthier, ensuring a consistency in finish and playing feel rarely seen in a standard production series!

Sound and playing comfort

The mahogany neck is stable and resistant to varying temperatures. The instrument is comfortable to play thanks to the ebony fingerboard that gives a quick touch with a clear tone. The ebony bridge is tailored to this, complemented by a compensated saddle that accurately adjusts intonation per string. The pin bridge system ensures efficient sound transmission to the top, which contributes directly to the sound projection. The distinctive 'redwood' rosette with Roman numeral 'X' marks the anniversary edition in style.
