Cocobolo is no ordinary wood. This rare tropical hardwood is known for its rich, bright tone with remarkably deep resonance. Flight combines that with a solid Engelmann spruce top, which sounds naturally open and responsive, and you have an instrument that is both instantly responsive and full and warm aftertone. The Flight A10 SC Cocobolo Dragon adds a visual statement that is as impressive as the sound: a turquoise dragon inlay, winding across the fingerboard. The dragon is the symbol of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the home of Flight Ukulele. To mark Flight's 10-year anniversary, every ukulele in the A10 series is built from start to finish by one 'master' luthier, ensuring a consistency in finish and playing feel rarely seen in a production series like this!

Sound and playing comfort

The mahogany neck is stable and resistant to temperature changes, and the ebony fingerboard gives a fast, crisp touch. Complemented by a compensated saddle for precise intonation per string. The pin bridge system also ensures efficient sound transfer to the top. And you can hear this directly in the Flight A10's projection and volume. To complete this anniversary edition, the sound hole is stylishly marked with a 'redwood' rosette, including Roman numeral 'X'. Turn the tenor ukulele over, and see the dark red character of the cocobolo wood with beautifully translucent grain. This combined with the neat and luxurious finish creates a unique and luxurious look.
