The Flight Iris Calantas tenor ukulele stands out for its warm character and meticulous finish. Whereas most ukuleles use a fully laminated construction, Flight takes a different approach. The solid top made of calantas, a type of wood from the mahogany family, gives the sound a round, full-bodied quality with rich mids. With quality fluorocarbon strings, you enjoy a fine, bright projection that perfectly matches the top. And playing feels familiar on the okoume neck with rosewood fingerboard. Small details like the white binding, a thin rosette and a unique wood grain pattern per instrument, give the Flight Iris Calantas its own character. To get started right away, it comes with a solidly padded (15 mm) gig bag, instruction booklet and sticker set!
