This soprano uke sets you up with a plucky string instrument that'll last you far beyond your first couple of chords and, as always, Flight include a handy gig bag and a fun instruction booklet so any fresh player can make a solid start.

The Natural Series NUS250 Acacia: Extra Wide Neck

With its extra wide, 38mm neck, this soprano ukulele has one-up on other models in the same price range since it gives your fingers more space between each string, easing chord-grabbing and note-picking while reducing the odds of touching any wrong string by accident. What's also interesting is that Flight have polished off the NUS250 Acacia with open-gear machine heads that have been fitted to contribute to optimum tuning stability.
