The sides, rear, neck, bridge and fretboard are made of ABS and are therefore insensitive to fluctuations in humidity and temperature levels. The Flight TUS-EE's top has been crafted out of basswood. This type of wood is characterised by a clear and balanced sound and has a tight texture that combines beautifully with the Sunset finish. Flight and Ecklund have opted for a wide, arched rear to give this uke more mid-range and volume over a standard soprano ukulele. The ABS fretboard is fitted with a stylish wooden accent to give a luxurious feel while the zero fret at the string nut and the specially designed bridge contribute to accurate intonation. This Ecklund Signature even features a strap button for an optional carrying strap so you can play seated or standing up.
