Flight and uke-toting YouTube star, Elise Ecklund are back and present a freshened-up version of their Sunset Signature model: the Travel Series TUSL-EE Sunset! The special thing about this ukulele is that combines a compact soprano body with the scale length of concert model, giving your fingers more room per fret to grab chords. As such, the Flight TUSL-EE is actually a great option for players with larger hands.

The Travel Series TUSL: Stable Tuning

Flight didn't pluck the name for the Travel Series out of thin air, because both the body and neck are made of ABS plastic to render the uke less sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity. Since that means maximum durability, you can safely take this model anywhere. Also note that the top, on the other hand, is made of wood - basswood, to be precise, which helps to shape a familiar and bright sound. To finish, the TUSL-EE Sunset comes completed with a zero fret for clear intonation of the open strings, and including a simple gig bag and a little instruction book.

Flight Travel Series TUSL-EE Sunset Elise Ecklund Signature Concert-Scale Soprano Ukulele with Gig Bag

I bought this ulelele because of the reviews I read and also because of how beautiful the artwork is. It has a louder and fuller sound than the usual ukelele. The concert size fretboard on this model suits me. Although it is early days it is holding it's tuning well. I am really pleased with it. I'm now buying one for my grandaughter so she can take it on camping trips. It's plastic body is really sturdy.
