Basically, it's built to survive life on the road as well as the elements, and thanks to the ultra-thin soundboard and rounded back, you're also treated to outstanding projection and plenty of volume. Bundled up with a drawstring bag and instruction booklet, this is one travel-happy instrument.

The Flight Ultra Travel Series UTS-42: Max Playing Comfort

Even the neck and fretboard are made from reinforced polycarbonate and feature an integrated zero fret to guarantee pure and consistent sound - even when playing open chords. The 37.3mm-wide nut supplies your fret and strumming hand with more than enough room between the strings to transition between complex chords and weave intricate finger-picking techniques, and even makes this ukulele comfortable for children as well as fully-grown beginner players. And as a nice finishing detail, a strap button has been secured to the base so you can fit a strap and play standing up.
