Ortega's RU5 is an affordable concert ukulele with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. It has a bright sound that is pleasantly warm no matter whether you play with your fingers or a plectrum. The tortoise-style binding and laser engraving on the top are nice touches. A concert model is slightly larger than a soprano ukulele, making it a bit easier to handle and giving it slightly more volume too.

Beautiful little instrument. Nicely finished and with a sweet and mellow tone. It holds its tune well and has greater resonance than several other ukes we have tried. You will not want to put it down!

Ik heb de ukelele inmiddels een week in mijn bezit en ben echt verslaafd! De klank is warm en de ukelele is mooi afgewerkt met de kleine gravering. De ukelele is gemakkelijk te stemmen en blijft ook goed gestemd - net als ik! Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed en het is een mooi instrument voor de beginnende speler. Als je elke dag een uurtje speelt, dan kun je binnen no time liedjes spelen. Ik zou deze ukelele aan iedereen aanraden die twijfelt over het leren spelen van een (nieuw) instrument. Een genot om te zien en te bespelen.

Heel mooi afgewerkt instrument met een echte warme klank, blijft goed gestemd staan en is een feest om te bespelen. Als ik hem zie staan, moet ik er even op spelen, een genot om te horen. Dus alleen lof over deze ukelele. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is heel erg goed.

Deze ukelele heeft ten eerste een prachtige afwerking en geeft een mooie en warme klank. Het instrument is makkelijk te bespelen en het stemmen gaat heel gemakkelijk. Ik speel nu al ruim vier jaar op deze ukelele en hij is in die drie jaar misschien drie keer (lichtjes) ontstemt.

Uitstekende ukelele; mooie, warme klank en erg fijn om op te spelen. Stemmen gaat soepel en wanneer de snaren eenmaal ingespeeld zijn, ontstemt hij nauwelijks nog.
Tot mijn verrassing zit er zelfs een strapbutton op (wat op de foto niet het geval is), zodat je er ook een draagband aan kan bevestigen.
Op alle fronten een aanrader.
