General

The Kala Satin Mahogany Baritone is the largest model in Kala's popular Satin Mahogany series. This baritone ukulele stands out for its deep, warm sound and wider playing comfort, making it the perfect bridge between the traditional ukulele and the guitar. Thanks to its full tone and longer scale, this model is particularly suitable for players looking for a rich, resonant sound or those making the switch from guitar to ukulele for the first time. The sound box is made entirely of mahogany, known for its warm and balanced character. The satin finish gives the instrument a natural look and feel while playing, while allowing the wood to breathe freely for optimal resonance. The combination of the mahogany body and the larger baritone size results in an expressive tone with lots of lows and deep resonance that is distinctly different from smaller ukulele types such as concert or tenor. The neck (mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard) offers a smooth playing feel and enough space between the frets for both chord playing and melody lines. A sturdy gig bag is included.
